Joining opportunities

Although not always … Although not always guaranteed, pupils and students will have many different opportunities to be taken on after completing training. Pupils can start out with us through a training or dual study programme. Students can join the company in internal or field sales.

School graduation (almost) in the bag – now what?

We know it’s not always easy choosing the right profession. To make your decision a little easier, you can come and see what we’re about. A career-oriented internship (for example BORS or BOGY) will give you a good idea of the various vocational groups working together in a wholesale company. You can take a look at different areas and learn what’s actually involved in being an agent for wholesale and external trade management or a warehouse specialist.

Find IT exciting? If so, you can get to know the IT agent or IT specialist in systems integration professions with us. Over a week, you will get to know the entire team and the work we do, and pitch in. This gives you varied insight into our company – and strengthens your decision-making when it comes to career choices.

Our trainees will be by your side during your internship. Supporting you is important to us. To ensure that this is always guaranteed, we offer only one-week orientation internships. Apply quickly and easily online, including your CV and a copy of your most recent report. Be sure to let us know which profession you’d like to get to know and your preferred time period for completing the internship. Although it may be possible to arrange internships at short notice in some areas (e.g. logistics), you should try to submit your application early.

Practical semester I mandatory internship

Are you a student and your main focus is on sales, business management or a similar area?

Then you have the opportunity to complete a practical semester with us. You will gain initial experience while working independently. You can rely on our technical support. Your practical semester with us is usually connected to a project thesis. You can now finally apply your knowledge from lectures and seminars in practice and build and expand your professional network. We’re happy to keep in touch with you and would gladly assist you in your thesis work. You will also have the chance to join our company on a permanent basis following your studies. From day one, benefit from the expertise of a forward-looking direct sales company and take on your own areas of responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

Are speculative applications welcomed?

Yes. You are welcome to send us a speculative application. Your application documents will be reviewed and possibly included in our RECA talent pool. We will contact you as soon as a role becomes available in your desired area.

Who can apply for an internship/practical semester?

Students can apply for a mandatory internship (practical semester) or a voluntary internship. We love to hear from business administration students focusing on sales, though studying business administration is not a prerequisite.

Still in school? Then you can apply for a career-oriented internship (BORS – middle school programme [Berufsorientierung an Realschulen], BOGY – grammar school programme [Berufs- und Studienorientierung an Gymnasien], OIB – career orientation programme [Orientierung im Beruf]) or a voluntary internship during the holidays.

How do I apply for an internship/practical semester or thesis placement?

All available internships and practical semesters are listed on our job board. The easiest, quickest and safest way to apply is via our online form.

What information do I need to include in my application for an internship/practical semester or thesis placement?

Your application documentation should include your CV and three most recent certificates. Please also let us know your preferred time period for completing an internship or practical semester, how long you’d like it to be and which of our areas interest you.

What are the requirements for a thesis placement?

In order for you to write your thesis in cooperation with us, we require the permission of at least one professor responsible for assessing your thesis.

Is there a deadline for applying for an internship/practical semester/thesis placement?

No, there is no deadline for applications.

Is an internship abroad possible?

In essence, yes. However, this depends on your foreign language skills and the local availability. If you are interested in an internship overseas, please indicate this on your application.

Is it possible to apply for several jobs?

Yes. Please indicate the positions you wish to apply for on the application form or in your cover letter.

Already submitted your documents? Then simply inform your contact person that other positions are also of interest to you. Contact details can be found in the job advertisement.

Can I change or withdraw my application afterwards?

Yes, you can make subsequent changes to your documents or withdraw your application at any time. To do so, please inform your contact person. You can find the relevant contact details on the job advertisement or on the career page.

How is my data processed?

What happens after I submit my application?

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirmation of receipt. All application documents are individually reviewed by our recruiters. We will get back to you as soon as we have any news about your application.

Can I only apply online?

Please apply online. It is the simplest, fastest and most secure way. It also offers numerous advantages. You can see at a glance whether you have correctly added all of the documents. Your application will be sent directly to the responsible employee without your data being viewed by third parties. In addition, our online application form is designed to be simple, meaning you only need two minutes to complete it.

If you are unable to submit an online application, sending your documents by post is of course also possible.

Yes, all advertised positions on our Careers page are up-to-date. Job advertisements are removed as soon as the position is filled.
